About Punch Report & how we get our dates

Punch Report is an independent site. We aren't affiliated with any golf course, management company, or association listed here.

Where the dates come from

Every date comes from a public source, and each course page links to it with the date we last checked. Current sources:

What the dates mean

Greens aeration: holes are punched in the greens. Greens are bumpy and slow for about 1 to 3 weeks. Where a source gives a "recovered by" date, we show it as the end date. Overseed: fairways are seeded with winter grass, and the course usually closes or limits play. "Access" (public or private) is shown only where we could verify it. Otherwise it says "not yet verified".

Accuracy & corrections

Courses change schedules for weather and other reasons, and sources can be wrong or out of date. Always confirm with the course before booking. If something is wrong, tell us. We fix corrections within 1 business day and remove any course page on the operator's request.
